The Muslim Student Association is putting on another incredible Taste of Islam event explaining the topic of Women in Islam. This year the MSA is happy to bring the voice of a Muslim play-write, Rohina Malik, who will perform her one-woman show “Unveiled” for the Truman campus. There will be superb African cuisine catered for the dinner and a touching presentation about the so-called “Oppressed” and the status and rights of women in Islam.
Sunday, November 10th from 6-8p.m in the SUB Georgian Rms
Tickets will be sold for $3 in the SUB between 12pm-4pm the week of Nov 4-8. the “Unveiled” performance following the dinner is OPEN to the public [1stCome1stServed] and will begin at approximately 7p.m. that evening.
